[There is nothing but the sound of the groan for a few seconds, and an image of black across the screen. After some sounds of shuffling, and a few more groans, the image blurs until it focuses on the face of a girl with a pair of light brown eyes. The eyes stare inquisitively at the screen, and then the image blurs and flickers once more as the device is shaken back and forth.]
Okay...what...?
[The figure drops the device to her side so that the screen catches a glimpse of the blue and white school uniform she is wearing, and her voice sounds far away.]
Those buildings don't look like anything I've ever seen in Death City...so where the hell am I?
[The figure begins to walk forward, first at a slow pace, and then gradually begins walking faster until she is in a jog.]
Hello? Kim? Harvar?...Where did everyone go?...Where is this?
[ A nervous tone enters the voice as her jog turns into a slow run.]
