Seriously, acid rain?  What is with this place?

I was just wondering if this kind of thing has happened before.  Or happens often...
Is there anything else that happens regularly?  Tsunamis? Spontaneous combustion?  Anything?

I've barely been here a month and I'm just so sick of this place.  Is this sort of thing caused by the scientists too?  If it is...I already wanted to kill them for the way they play God, but this would just make it so much worse...

Oh, and Tsubaki, Black Star.  I know I've talked to both of you about training somehow, but things keep happening that get in the way of going outside...is there any place that you know of where we might be able to train indoors?  I just don't think this city is ever going to make it convenient for us, so we might as well go ahead...

One last note, a friend of mine just got here, and she arrived right in the middle of all of this.  I think she's okay right now, but if anyone notices a short blonde girl running around outside, please help her out.  Her name is Patti.

I saw you were addressing the thing about training to some other friends of yours, but in case you were still looking, I know my uncle leads a dojo in the Mariner High School gym. If you wanted to train with the others there, I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

I'm certain it's not taken the entire time though, so you can probably go in there to train on your own too.

Really? That would actually be great. I'm not so sure about the group training...though I'm sure it couldn't hurt, I think I might want to train in a smaller group first...

That would be incredibly helpful. Maybe when this weather takes a break I can check it out.

Well, that's true, but still. The weather seems to be doing almost as good of a job of hurting people. And if the scientists are behind this too, then it might as well be murder.

That makes sense. It would be really nice if I could blame them though. It is their fault we're stuck here in these conditions anyway.

That's good news. Not many people could say the same at the moment, so it's nice to hear that.

I'm alright. Just, the same frustration at being so useless. Though to be honest, even without my chip, I'm not sure there's much I'd be able to do right now.

At the very least, I may have possibly found someone who can remove my chip.

I'm a living weapon you could say. I'm not sure if you've met anyone else from my world,(there's quite a few of us here) but I have two forms. The human one that I take normally, and another form.

My weapon form is that of a lantern, and I can wield fire, and also fly while in that form.

I can also half transform, and use the fire myself. Ah, you see, when weapons are in their full form, they have a partner who wields them, called a meister.

Hmm, so you can use much of your potential on your own, though it can only be fully tapped when partnered with another person, then?

As for the removal, I'm fairly sure most doctors have knowledge of the chip location.

Yes, actually, that's exactly how it works. A partner is necessary to perform anything really powerful. A weapon and meister basically link their souls together, and it allows them to tap into a much stronger power.

That's good to hear. The doctor I found is removing the chip of a friend of mine soon. He seems very capable.

Just out of curiosity, what are your abilities? Well, I guess I'm assuming you have some, but, I get the feeling you do...

It is a case-by-case issue, though if your abilities are mainly for offensive rather than passive or defensive purposes, you may want to avoid being near others while you recover.
